as per 14-09-2009 only single or double entry visas will be issued. Visa will be valid form date of issue untill date of departure from India as stated in your bookingconfirmation or (copy) ticket. Single-double entry only and no extension possible.

Tourist/business visa – required documents

• Original passport with minimum validity of 6 month
• 2 Passport size photographs
• Application form duly filled in
• Additional telexform to be filled in and extra charges* to be paid 
• bookingconfirmation or (copy) ticket(s)
• if double entry is required > bookingconfirmation or (copy) ticket(s) for BOTH trips or one bookingconfirmation or (copy) ticket(s) and a travelplan in case overland travel. Example - overland to Nepal and back to India
• Tourist > If there is a used visa in the applicants passport, it should be expired for at least two months 
• Business > Letter from the Company (guarantee letter)
• Business > Invitation form business partner in India. Chamber of Commerce registration number should be mentioned in this letter.
• Business > Certificate of Incorporation
• Business > Salary slip or bankstatement with salary
• Business > Employer Statement
